GujaratiNRI web is the first ever project undertaken to unite the
Gujarati Community Worldwide. With 60 million Gujaratis worldwide, the intellect
of all of us can dramatically change the lives of Gujaratis all around the
world. In the state of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel let us ignite the lamp
for a new revolution.

How did GujaratiNRI web Started?
The idea
of GujaratiNRIweb
happened in a accidentally way when Gujaratis showed anguish over the political,
social atrocities. After initial anger shown
by Mr. Manish Patel ,Mr. Hemant Patel(USA), Mr. Bharat Patel (INDIAN NRI) and
Mr.Sanjeev Patel, it was decided to float the idea to gather people support.
Within no time, Gujaratis all around the world showed their support for this
movement. The first web page was put up on Aug.15, 2000
Initially it was decided
to keep this movement going but for major thrust a bigger sponsorship was
needed. Other way around was to make this movement self sufficient by generating
revenues via e-Commerce activities and selling services via web and in projected
200 branches worldwide. The site was later moved to its own domain http://www.gujaratinri.com
where it stands now and is quickly being developed by NetVision
Web Technologies Ltd.

GujaratiNRIweb has a mailing list going on where anyone can share
their ideas, concerns related to Gujarati Community. If you want to be a member
of this list, please Join GujaratiNRI web Disscussion Group.Once you join the
list, you can then share your ideas to rest of the group members.

Mr.Setu Upadhyay and Mr.Sanjay Patel presently controls the mailing list. If you have any concerns on any of the discussed thread, please write to him.
6 How does GujaratiNRIweb deal with discussion group & mailing list Spam?
GujaratiNRIweb believes in creative ideas. Very strict actions have
been taken in the past against individuals who have sent junk mail. It is a
painful process to trace the person in some cases but when we are able to do it,
we always take severe actions.
Joining the Mailing List and being a listener is definitely welcome. But we want you to bring your true self out, share your thoughts to make a better Gujarat. Don't worry at all there is no government involved in this.. there are no promises done , but we can of course show the government how to function.

How does GujaratiNRIweb reward its associates?
GujaratiNRIweb intends to share the revenues to the developers and full time staff in terms of the efforts put in it. The associates will be awarded virtual stock options. Ideas are welcome to have a better model for this.
